A multiple Tony Award winner, Mr. Wasserman is best know for the musical film “The Man of La Mancha”, a tale about Don Quixote. He is also remembered for the stage production of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”. Both of these productions continue to be produced nationally and internationally with an estimated 300 productions a year. Sometimes controversial and always engaging, Dale Wasserman lived an extremely colorful life. This writer of more than 75 scripts for stage, screen, and television shares his honest opinions and thoughts in this interview, filmed shortly before his death in 2008.
